One collection. Different packaging roles.
The burgundy presentation direction uses a consistent exterior color and a controlled brand area to frame the product. Developing this appearance into a working fragrance pack requires three decisions to be resolved together: the box construction, the filled bottle fit and the way the recipient removes it.
The design challenge
A fragrance box needs to present the bottle cleanly while allowing the customer to remove it without struggling. The key challenge is to reconcile a precise-looking interior with realistic manufacturing tolerances and the weight of the filled bottle.
A unified visual identity
Use the burgundy surface as the primary brand field, keeping typography and logo placement controlled. Align the interior color with the exterior rather than adding competing graphics. Review the position of the bottle when the case is opened, including the visibility of its label.

Inside the packaging collection
Compare a wrapped rigid structure with a product-specific insert. A paperboard insert, molded alternative or covered foam may be reviewed against the bottle profile and protection brief. No insert material is selected until a physical bottle or an accurate dimensional drawing is available.
Specification review before quotation
| Item | What to agree | Approval reference |
|---|---|---|
| Structure & dimensions | Internal dimensions, product orientation and opening clearance | Blank structural sample |
| Paper & board | Paper swatch, board construction and color reference | Named material specification |
| Printing & finish | Artwork revision, logo position and surface treatment | Physical printed / finished sample |
| Interior fit | Product support, removal access and insert clearance | Sample with representative products |
| Packing | Surface protection, carton layout and unit count | Approved packing instruction |
Where material meets finishing
Trial a small metallic logo accent against a plain printed treatment. Check that the chosen finish reproduces fine logo details and remains consistent on the selected surface. The burgundy color should be approved from a physical reference under agreed viewing conditions.
From design approval to production
Prototype the bottle recess, finger access and cap clearance. Verify that the bottle does not contact the lid during closing. Record the fit, opening action, color and visible assembly standards in the sample approval.
Check dimensions, opening and product fit.
Review color, logo, surface and assembly.
Record revisions and acceptance criteria.
Agree protection, carton layout and identification.
Protecting the presentation in transit
Confirm the delivery destination, packed weight, carton quantities and required arrival date before selecting a shipment plan. Record the packing arrangement and carton identification in the approved specification. Production and transport dates should be quoted against the final artwork, sample approval and order quantity.
A coordinated packaging solution
A quotation-ready specification should bring together the approved artwork, structural drawing, material references, product fit, finishing reference, packing method and acceptance criteria. These documents provide a buyer with a clear basis for reviewing the proposal and comparing the delivered packaging with the agreed sample.
