One collection. Different packaging roles.
The floral collection brings together decorative outer packaging, a carrying format and an organized chocolate presentation. Its value lies in the relationship between the illustrated exterior and the arrangement seen when the pack is opened. This design review explains how that visual direction can be translated into a product-specific specification.
The design challenge
The main design challenge is balancing decorative artwork with a practical product layout. A busy floral pattern can compete with the brand mark, while a poorly sized interior can leave chocolates moving inside the box. The proposal therefore separates the visual presentation from the fit and protection decisions.
A unified visual identity
Keep the floral artwork across the main presentation surfaces, with a quieter area around the WAN FENG mark. Coordinate the handle, edge color and interior tone rather than introducing unrelated finishes. Prepare a print proof to review fine flower details and the contrast between the artwork and the brand area.

Inside the packaging collection
A rigid board construction with printed wrap paper is a proposed starting point, subject to structural sampling. For chocolates, specify suitable primary wrapping or a verified food-contact tray wherever required; decorative board and foil effects should not be assumed suitable for direct food contact. Size each compartment to the actual wrapped product.
Specification review before quotation
| Item | What to agree | Approval reference |
|---|---|---|
| Structure & dimensions | Internal dimensions, product orientation and opening clearance | Blank structural sample |
| Paper & board | Paper swatch, board construction and color reference | Named material specification |
| Printing & finish | Artwork revision, logo position and surface treatment | Physical printed / finished sample |
| Interior fit | Product support, removal access and insert clearance | Sample with representative products |
| Packing | Surface protection, carton layout and unit count | Approved packing instruction |
Where material meets finishing
Compare a printed gold tone with a selective foil accent on a physical paper sample. Keep the finish focused on the identity or border so it supports the floral artwork. Check rub resistance, crease behavior and glue marks on the assembled sample.
From design approval to production
Approve the artwork, assortment map and physical fit together. Confirm handle attachment, opening clearance and the position of any ribbon or closure. Use the approved sample to define acceptable color variation, alignment and surface condition before production.
Check dimensions, opening and product fit.
Review color, logo, surface and assembly.
Record revisions and acceptance criteria.
Agree protection, carton layout and identification.
Protecting the presentation in transit
Confirm the delivery destination, packed weight, carton quantities and required arrival date before selecting a shipment plan. Record the packing arrangement and carton identification in the approved specification. Production and transport dates should be quoted against the final artwork, sample approval and order quantity.
A coordinated packaging solution
A quotation-ready specification should bring together the approved artwork, structural drawing, material references, product fit, finishing reference, packing method and acceptance criteria. These documents provide a buyer with a clear basis for reviewing the proposal and comparing the delivered packaging with the agreed sample.
